A) List the essential functions and major activities in order of their importance. Primary technical contact point for sales and /or the customer and visits as needed to the customer. Understands the sales and customer needs and requirements, and makes suggestions that best fit the customer’s needs and budget. Review customer documents and give options on the customer specifications. Responsible for equipment selection, and for the pricing and preparation of technical specification/ proposal in a timely manner. Responsible to understand, visit the customer and collect all relevant technical data and specifications to propose a suitable solution for treatment project. Collection of Xylem information to be able to formulate a technical and commercial proposal. Communication on products and applications with overseas and local manufacturers and suppliers. Assist Sales and Market to hold technical seminars for Design Institutes, Contractors, Distributors and End User Customers. Assist with VOC requirements for internal projects. Assist with identifying product line gaps that are preventing us from offering an optimal solution to the customer Technical training for internal sales team and customers, where required. Where needed attend and give input to the design review processes within VBPD. Assist aftermarket team to resolve site issue, where necessary. Other duties and responsibilities assigned. Part 2. Describe the Person A) Minimum professional and educational background desired (include years of experience). (1) Key technical skills and knowledge. (2) Performance Measures/ KPIs Education: Bachelor Degree, B.S. in Environment Engineering and Civil Engineering preferred. Experience: Minimum 5 years in Water &Wastewater Treatment business area Excellent PC skills including, but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Auto CAD. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. English: CET-4 at least, fluent at speaking and writing B) Describe the most important Leadership competencies required of the individual.
