Responsibility Ask for more information from the Marketing Department concerning any missing technical data, and, if not available, takes actions to clarify the process such as raw water analysis, pilot tests, site visit, etc… Organizes the Proposal Kick-off Meeting Organizes the Proposal Risk Meeting, if any technical or financial risks Defines the main process and scope of work according to the Tender Document / Requirements from the Client Gives instructions and guides the Proposal Engineer Finalizes the selling price Checks the proposal and contract budget sheets Checks and approves the proposal documents especially the guarantees, liquidated damages, limits of scope, etc… before submitting to the Client Negotiates and sign the contract with the selected civil work company and/or design Institute, if any. The sub-contract(s) must be signed before the main contract Negotiates and sign the Contract , if power of attorney Reports to the Proposal Department Manager Profile Higher Education in water treatment related field 10 years experience in project proposal Good knowledge in water treatment concepts Good technical knowledge Good managerial skills Good organizational skills Good communication skills Good relational skills Familiar with activity related standards and regulations
